BYU senior Glory Thomas is working to serve the Provo community with her current title of Miss Provo by implementing kindness and encouraging empathy everywhere she goes. Thomas was crowned as Miss Provo on Sept. 19, 2022, at the Covey Center for the Arts. She will go on to compete for the title of Miss Utah in June at the Capitol Theatre in Salt Lake City. 'Miss Provo is the city's best volunteer,' Thomas said. From attending ribbon cuttings, meet and greets and productions to planning and organizing service projects, activities and fundraisers — Thomas said she works tirelessly to identify and fill the needs of the city.
